Following from the success of his single Fire & Coal, which was released last year, James Fox is back with his new hit ‘The Rest Of Our Lives’, taken from his upcoming album All The Fours.

James has recently returned to the world of music after songwriting became a key part of his road to recovery from a gambling addiction that almost took over his life; he offers hope to others who may be struggling with similar battles.

‘The Rest Of Our Lives’ is the uplifting folk-rock anthem we all need in today’s difficult climate, showing influences of rock and blues and providing a feeling of optimism for listeners as we are slowly beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to the Coronavirus pandemic.

James writes about hopes for the future and tells a touching love story which is visualised by a heart-warming video that will be available to watch soon.

“This is a feel-good, guitar-driven love song, that speaks of new beginnings, love, hope and making plans for the future, something I think can resonate with all of us just now.”

James has already had a career enough to make anyone jealous, representing the UK in Eurovison in 2004, supporting legends such as Tina Turner and Claire Teal and performing for none other than Her Majesty The Queen.

His experience expands beyond just music, having landed 4 West End and Broadway lead roles including playing Paul McCartney in Let it Be and Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar. If that wasn’t enough, he also received a medal for his work entertaining the Armed Forces in Afghanistan. Speaking of his amazingly diverse career and experience writing the album, James explained

“This album was written during a year that most of us were forced to stop. I rediscovered music again and started writing songs for the first time in years. The songs needed to come out, it felt like it was writing itself from time to time. I started getting very reflective and sifting through my past for the first time.

It was therapeutic in many ways but also exhausting, upsetting and difficult. I have been as honest as I can possibly be with the lyrics on this album and have talked about everything from my issues with gambling, loss of family, friends, the music business, my own demons and fears, right though to hope, finding new and real love and happiness and everything that was in between.

My career has been very diverse and I’ve been lucky to have had many amazing opportunities and experiences.”

‘All The Fours’ is an independent release featuring 12 new tracks and will be available worldwide on February 5, 2021. While you wait, check out James’ previous tracks via the links below and give him a follow on social media to be the first to know about the release.
